DAYTIME BARTENDER

The Cloud Room is a unique business with a small team which requires that all team members are willing and able to wear many hats and jump into a variety of roles depending on the day. We are looking for someone help us drive community and culture at The Cloud Room throughout the day by creating a fun, classy and hospitable environment for membership and guests. Summary

Oversee the Cloud Room bar and lounge during the day and prepare beverage orders and light lunch items. Welcome and manage flow of guests and members in and around bar area. Keep bar and lounge clean and organized. Prepare for evening service.

Core Focus & Responsibilities

  • Prepare cocktails, espresso and other drink orders to guests’ specifications.

  • Prepare basic lunch fare including and maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu offerings.

  • Get to know Cloud Room members and preferences.

  • Provide a hospitable and friendly environment for members and member guests

  • Handle payment for purchases.

  • Properly input guest orders through the POS system.

  • Maintain positive guest and member relations at all times.

  • Prepare for transition to evening service.

  • Perform sidework as needed.

  • Help us sell coworking memberships or direct leads to the proper team member.

  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in verbal and written English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

  • Prioritize and organize work assignments, have timely follow up and execution.

  • Have superb time management skills.

  • Maintain complete knowledge of all coworking membership packages, services and features and hours of operation.

  • Ability to comply with physical demands as outlined below.

  • Knowledge and understanding of the Cloud Room culture and initiatives.

  • Must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule.

  • Attend weekly staff meetings.

  • Minimum 1 year previous experience as a bartender.

  • Minimum 2 years previous experience in a fast-paced bar and/or restaurant.


  • Sit, walk, and stand continuously.

  • Lift / carry 25lbs (frequently) and 50lbs (occasionally)

  • Bend, squat, crawl, and reach above shoulder level.

  • Use dominate hand coordination for simple grasping, pushing/pulling, and fine manipulation.

  • May be exposed to extreme temperatures, dust, dampness, height, and moving machinery.

  • Monday - Friday 8am-4pm
