You are invited to an election night viewing party hosted by The Cloud Room for the Families Yes campaign!
We will have full bar service, light appetizers, and a large TV for live coverage throughout the evening. Tickets are not required for the event, but helpful so we have a sense of headcount. When the venue is full, we will stop letting people in. Your RSVP does not guarantee access if we hit capacity.
The Families, Education, Preschool and Promise (FEPP) Levy renews the expiring Families and Education Levy (2011) and the Seattle Preschool Levy (2014) and will broaden its scope to serve early learners, K-12 vulnerable populations, and college access.
The proposed levy will make seven years of investment to:
- Nearly double the number of low-income children in quality, affordable preschool;
- Increase K-12 and community investments, including critical school-based health services, increasing teacher diversity and helping students most at-risk of dropping out of school;
- Expand access to college for all Seattle Public School graduates through the Seattle Promise College Tuition Program.
