BeatClass is a free, all ages Ableton production workshop for non-cis-male-identifying producers in the greater Seattle area.

The purpose of this class is to provide free resources and instruction for non-cis-male-identifying producers in order to expand their music production skill sets in Ableton. BeatClass recognizes that beat making is a male dominated scene, so we aim to create a safe space for folks to learn, network, and collaborate.

The class will take place at The Cloud Room – a female-led co-working space in Capitol Hill – on Sunday, December 16th from 1-5pm. Two instructors, Sassy Black and Jake Crocker, will each teach a lesson. Capacity is limited to 16 students.

Submissions close November 23rd at 11:59pm.

A panel of non-cis-male-identifying producers will review submissions and selected students will be notified by December 3rd.
