Trevor Warren is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Pacific Northwest. He is interested in forms of media that complicate and extend the definitions of painting, sculpture, and photography. In addition to hybrid-forms, Warren works closely with durational sound artists. As a visual artist, he is inspired by their focus on repetition, uncertainty, and experimentation. Trevor is invested in collaborative art practices through his independent publishing collective, Counterbound. Most of the work they publish investigates land-use and cultural geography through process-oriented, written notation projects.
