Seattle Streets Alliance is a community-powered nonprofit working to make Seattle’s streets safer, more welcoming, and accessible for everyone who walks, bikes, or rolls.
Formerly known as Seattle Neighborhood Greenways, the organization recently rebranded to better reflect its citywide coalition of neighborhood groups, partners, and advocates working together for safer, people-first streets.
For more than 15 years, the Streets Alliance team has worked alongside community members to win safer speed limits, expand sidewalks and crosswalks, build connected bike networks, and advance policies that prioritize the movement of people. Their work also centers on mobility justice, partnering with community leaders across Seattle to ensure historically underinvested neighborhoods have a strong voice in shaping transportation decisions.
Today, Streets Alliance continues to grow as a grassroots movement—organizing residents, collaborating with policymakers, and advocating for streets that support vibrant, walkable neighborhoods and safe connections across the city.
